About

The Turpin Meadow Campground is located 17-miles East of Moran Junction on the Buffalo Valley Road. It is outfitted with 14 standard campsites, 4 pull through sites, 2 double-unit vault restrooms, and 1 single-unit vault restroom. It is also equipped with corrals, hitching posts, water access, a stock tank, accessibility to bear boxes, dumpsters, and a game storage pole. There are corrals and designated places to tether stock. If camping with stock, please select a site with corrals. These sites are marked with a horseshoe symbol. Sites without stock facilities are marked with a bear paw symbol.  Please use the corrals instead of setting up highlines, electric fences or pickets. Please use hitch rails. Do not hobble or tie stock to trees.

Availability at Turpin Meadow Campground

CampFinder checks Recreation.gov every 30 minutes, around the clock, and emails you when a booked-up night opens back up. That catches most cancellations, which sit open for hours; at the few campgrounds that refill in seconds it can miss the race. Set up a free availability alert for Turpin Meadow Campground.
