Terms of Service
These are the terms for using CampFinder (campfinder.site). They are short on purpose. By using the service you agree to them.
The service
CampFinder is a free service that watches campground availability on public reservation systems and emails you when a night you asked about becomes available. It is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind.
No guarantees
- We check every 30 minutes. At campgrounds that refill within seconds, an opening can appear and disappear between two checks, and we will not see it.
- We do not guarantee that an alert is delivered, that it arrives in time, or that the site is still available when you open the reservation system.
- We never make, hold, or cancel a reservation on your behalf. Booking is always done by you, on the official site.
Not affiliated
CampFinder is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Recreation.gov, any park service, or any reservation system it watches. Their names belong to their owners.
Your responsibilities
- Follow the rules of the reservation system you book on, including its terms of use, booking limits, and cancellation policies.
- Use CampFinder for your own camping. Do not use it to resell reservations or to run automated booking.
- Keep the email address on your account one you actually control.
Limits and removal
We may rate-limit, suspend, or remove accounts that abuse the service, for example by creating watches in bulk, using the service for resale, or interfering with its operation. Where practical we will tell you why.
Changes and termination
We may change or shut down the service at any time. If these terms change, the effective date above changes with them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
