Big Bar Lake Provincial Park is approximately 330 hectares in size and is situated on the shore of a large lake, surrounded by small lakes and ponds. The park is located on the southern edge of the Fraser Plateau. This extensive plateau stretches north beyond Lac La Hache, and was formed from lava flows some five to ten million years ago. The park features 46 campsites and a large day-use area offering beachside picnic areas and a play area for children.
CampFinder checks BC Parks every 30 minutes, around the clock, and emails you when a booked-up night opens back up. That catches most cancellations, which sit open for hours; at the few campgrounds that refill in seconds it can miss the race. Set up a free availability alert for Big Bar Lake Provincial Park.
