This popular conservation area is also known as Waterford Ponds. Fishing, boating, swimming and lakeside picnicking are among the activities available. A favourite with anglers, the three ponds at Waterford North Conservation Area are home to an array of fish species including largemouth bass, northern pike and a variety of panfish. Gas powered motors not exceeding 10 hp are permitted on Pickerel Lake. The park features 100 unserviced campsites with shady picnic areas and canoe rentals.
