It is rare that you find an area such as this one. In Clearwater Lake, the water is so clear that you can see 11 metres to the bottom of the lake, not to mention seeing the trophy-size lake trout, northern pike and whitefish that live in it. Another exceptional feature of the park that can be explored are "the caves", huge slabs of rock have broken off the dolomite cliffs. These caves are tucked under the lush canopy of trees, mosses, shrubs and wildflowers. Within Clearwater Lake Provincial Park, a former forest reserve, is where Campers Cove is located. The campsites will accommodate larger units. Recreational opportunities include fishing, swimming, boating, hiking, volleyball and basketball. Lake trout fishing is excellent. Located in the Campground Basketball, boat launch, dump station (at entrance), firewood (available for purchase), hiking (cave trails nearby), kiosk, modern washrooms, pay showers, picnic areas, picnic shelter, pit privies, playground, swimming, volleyball, and water taps. Located in the Park Boating, canoeing, convenience store (Pioneer Bay Campground), fishing (license required), and restaurant. Located Outside the Campground Gas station.
CampFinder checks Manitoba Parks every 30 minutes, around the clock, and emails you when a booked-up night opens back up. That catches most cancellations, which sit open for hours; at the few campgrounds that refill in seconds it can miss the race.
