The Gwich'in Campground is one of two campgrounds inside Gwich'in Territorial Park. The park is located along the Dempster Highway, 30 km south of Inuvik. The campground offers 25 non-powered campsites, 11 tent sites and a group camping area. Situated on the shore of Campbell Lake, guests can enjoy a swim, try your luck at fishing or hike in search of unique rocks and fossils. Amenities include outhouse washrooms, a playground, picnic shelter and a floating dock. The campground has no internet access and online reservations are not available for this park. Visitors can self-register at the gatehouse upon arrival to the park (sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis).
