MacKinnon Territorial Park

About

MacKinnon Territorial Park is located in the community of Norman Wells, on the bank of the Mackenzie River. The park offers seven non-powered campsites and basic amenities including outhouses, a playground and picnic shelter. Activities include an interpretive site, as well as sand volleyball and frisbee golf. The park's proximity to the river and the Mackenzie Mountains makes it a popular respite for river trippers, or hikers setting out on the rugged and renowned Canol Trail. Please note, the community of Norman Wells is not accessible by road. There is no internet access at this park. Sites cannot be reserved online. They are available by self registration on a first come, first serve basis.
