The campground is in a pine forest bordering sandy beaches; all campsites are a short walk from the waterfront. There are flush toilets but no shower or laundry facilities. A limited number of sites can accommodate recreational vehicles but there are no electrical sites and generators are prohibited. The campground has one Yurt, sleeping up to 6. The entire Achray campground is radio-free and the western side of the campground is pet-free (sites 20 – 40). Amenities: Boat launch, maximum 10 horsepower permitted on Grand Lake Park office on site 4 trails in the area: Achray Historic Site Exhibit (easy, 2.4 km), Berm Lake (moderate, 4.5 km), Barron Canyon (easy, 1.5 km) and Jack Pine (easy, 1.6 km return) Beaches and day use picnic areas available – pets are prohibited in the beach areas Flush toilets and vault privy toilets available in the campground area only Garbage facilities at the campground only No cell service Access to this campground is on 45 km of gravel road. There is no gas sold at this access point or at the campground. There are no public roads to Achray directly from Highway 60.
