Spencer Spit State Park

About

Spencer Spit State Park is a 200-acre marine and camping park on Lopez Island in the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The park has a reputation for excellent crabbing, clamming and car-top boating. One of the few auto-access state parks in the San Juan Islands, Spencer Spit provides dramatic, east-facing views of Decatur and Blakely islands and features a rare sand spit enclosed by a salt-chuck lagoon. The restrooms at Spencer Spit State Park do not have showers. The closest showers are located in Lopez Village.

Availability at Spencer Spit State Park

CampFinder checks Washington State Parks every 30 minutes, around the clock, and emails you when a booked-up night opens back up. That catches most cancellations, which sit open for hours; at the few campgrounds that refill in seconds it can miss the race. Set up a free availability alert for Spencer Spit State Park.
